Chair’s Message
Founded over a century ago to pursue excellence in advanced urological care, the University of Iowa Department of Urology has grown into a leader in patient care. As I prepare to step down as chair, I am proud of our team’s daily efforts to continue that tradition of exceptional care, and I am confident in the bright future that lies ahead for the department.
In 2024 our excellent urology care was recognized in the results of the “Best Hospitals” and “Best Children’s Hospitals” surveys conducted by U.S. News & World Report. We’re very appreciative of the support from our partners around the nation who chose us in those surveys.
