Chair’s Message

The Annual Meeting of the American Urological Association (AUA) is the largest and most influential gathering of urologists, researchers, and health care professionals in the field of urology. It features the presentation of groundbreaking research, clinical advancements, surgical innovations, and educational sessions led by experts. This meeting sets the agenda for the future of urology.

As always, the University of Iowa Department of Urology will be well-represented at this important event, sharing our own work and insights and keeping abreast of the absolute latest advancements in urologic care.

This year's event will be held from April 26 to 29 in Las Vegas. In the days before the meeting, you can visit our website for a complete listing of all of our team's appearances and activity during the event.

As I prepare to step down as chair, I am proud of our team’s daily efforts to continue our tradition of exceptional care and groundbreaking research. In this issue of Iowa Urology, I answer a few questions about my tenure as chair. I invite you to learn more about my perspective on the great work our team has done to thrive during that time.
